Since I still have many plants in my bedroom, the cats aren’t allowed in. But, she was meowing outside the door and so I thought I’d let her in. I put her on the bed and she immediately flopped over and started purring. She was so happy!
Now, she cries to be let in every night. :(
Once I am able to figure out which plants I can part with, I will make my bedroom more cat-friendly. I have a feeling that both Simon and Sedona will be spending a lot of time in my room. It’s the brightest area in the apartment.
In related news, I’m trying to figure out a way to make my bedroom more private. The large window (which lets in all the wonderful light) opens into the parking lot and I can’t keep my blinds closed all the time because the plants need sun. So, I bought a roll of decorative removable window cling and I’m going to attempt to use that. It will still let light in, but will prevent people walking by the window from looking inside my bedroom.
When I was furnishing my store I didn't want nosy peeps looking at us through the windows but we needed the light for the construction. I bought silver polish/window polish and put it all over the windows and it worked. When we cleaned them off the windows were like new. My grandmother used to use window polish in her store so if your cling does not work maybe you can try the polish.
